When people ask me where they should have their engagement photos taken, they're often expecting me to suggest Melbourne's most iconic locations.
And while I have plenty of favourite beaches, gardens and city streets, my answer is almost always the same:

Maybe it's the café where you had your first date. The beach where you spend every summer. The park where you walk your dog every Sunday morning. The street where you first met, your favourite wine bar, or even your own home.

That's something no picturesque backdrop can replace.
